20 Point Advisory Rule

When a team is up by 20 points they are to fall back into a zone defense within the 3 point arch. They are not to press either full or half court and are to make 4 passes before shooting.

Attention ALL Coaches - 5th thur 8th ONLY

Mouth guards are MANDATORY for all players as of 1/05/07. This is a league rule so contact your town director with any questions.

If a player doesn't NOT have a mouth guard he/she can NOT play. If a player at a start of a game doesn't NOT have a mouth guard BUT mom/dad is going to run out and get one during the game, roster them in the scorebook. When the player has a mouth guard he/she can enter the game. They MUST be in the scorebook prior to the start of the game even if he/she might not play. As always communicate with the other coach this information so he/she understands what is happening.

As to penalty for a player that removes a mouth guard while on the court, it is at the officials discretion.

It is a good idea for coaches to choose 2 "Team Captains". Ref's like to talk to them before the start of each game.

REPORTING SCORES

Score reporting is handled by each HOME team only. The Town Directors are to report the winning and losing teams in there gyms. A good idea is to print your gyms schedule for each Sat and leave it at the scoring table for the coaches to fill-in.

If you have any questions or scores please contact your Town Director. We will post scores as "1" and "0" (1 is the winning team) and should be updated the following Tuesday.
